You will learn how to read the panel before committing the film, create anchors that support the installation, distribute tension and recognise when fingers, lift lines or trapped moisture are warning you to reset.

We would rather set an honest expectation before the course than sell an unrealistic promise about instant mastery.
Do I need previous wrapping or detailing experience?+
No. The course starts with film behaviour, preparation and tool control. Existing detailing or wrapping experience can help, but a willingness to work carefully, accept feedback and practise after the course matters more.
How much is the four-day PPF course?+
The four-day course fee is £2,690 including VAT per person. It includes training, materials used during the course, use of professional equipment, a starter tool kit and an Adept certificate of completion.
Is this mainly demonstration or hands-on training?+
Hands-on practice is the priority. Demonstrations are used to establish the method, then trainees repeat the process with instructor feedback on real panels and vehicles.
Will I learn pre-cut patterns and bulk installation?+
Yes. The programme introduces pattern-software and plotter workflows as well as the film-control principles used for bulk fitting. The precise balance can be adjusted around the experience of the group.
Will the certificate make me a manufacturer-accredited installer?+
No. The Adept certificate records successful completion of Adept's training programme; it is not a film-manufacturer accreditation. Manufacturer schemes have their own assessment and trading requirements.
Will I be ready to sell PPF immediately afterwards?+
You will leave with a professional method and a much stronger understanding of the workflow, but speed and consistency come through deliberate practice. We recommend consolidating the techniques on suitable practice panels and lower-risk installations before promising complex full-car work.
Can I send a member of my existing team?+
Yes. The course is suitable for detailing, bodyshop, wrapping and automotive businesses that want to develop installation capacity. Tell us about their current experience when enquiring so the coaching can be pitched appropriately.
Where does the course take place?+
Training takes place at Adept Wrapping, Unit 9 Manchester Park, Tewkesbury Road, Cheltenham, GL51 9EJ. Free onsite parking is available and course dates are released in limited small-group cohorts.
